2022 Leadership Circle Celebration
On February 27, 2022 we welcomed our Leadership Circle members to our third annual Leadership Circle celebration “Grazie Mille!” Leadership Circle donors enjoyed a wide array of fine Banfi wines paired with Tuscan specialties prepared by Chef Farnsworth. Foundation Chair Don Blair gave an update on Foundation activities and Phil Barns, ED of Youth Guidance spoke of how the Foundation has made a major impact on his agency’s ability to achieve its mission.

The John’s Island Foundation gives special recognition to members of the Leadership Circle who have shown extraordinary generosity, with annual donations of $5,000 and above.
2022 Annual Donor Reception
On April 13, 2022 we held our annual Donor Reception to celebrate all Foundation Donors in the 2021-22 Fiscal Year.
Foundation Chair Don Blair reported we raised over $1 million in contributions this year. SafeSpace CEO Teresa Albizu, Ed.D spoke about how great an impact John’s Island Foundation grants for facilities have made on women and children who are victims of domestic abuse.

20th Anniversary / 2020 Annual Donor Reception
The 2020 Annual Donor Reception celebrated the John’s Island Foundation's 20th Anniversary on January 27, 2020 in the John's Island Club Ballroom. The Foundation honored founder and first president Ellie McCabe by donating a special $50,000 grant to the Gifford Youth Achievement Center (GYAC) for a new mental health guidance office.
2019 Leadership Circle Celebration
We enjoyed seeing those who were able to attend our second annual Leadership Circle Banfi Wine Tasting “Italy Comes to Florida” on November 13, 2019, in the John's Island Club Ballroom.
